In a Virtual World, the Visual Is King.
Rapid Response Task Force Helps Students Win the Visual Battle for Israel
As campuses have moved to a partial or fully online experience, the struggle for the perception of Israel among the student body relies most heavily on the ability to tell a compelling story through art.
Unfortunately, Jewish and Pro-Israel students are at a significant disadvantage in this regard. Artists 4 Israel was the first to expose this Creative Deficit:
The failure to win eyes, hearts and minds has harmed the Jewish community for millennia.
From the anti-Semitic cartoons of the Nazi era to anti-Semitic students utilizing their artistic advantage to pass BDS resolutions through a student body wowed by their creative displays, Jewish youth need an artistic hand. For 10 years, Artists 4 Israel has been using its own creative power to support the cause. But, now, as a virtual world makes this need ever more present, A4I will train others to meet the needs of the day.
Artists 4 Israel’s Rapid Response Taskforce, in coordination with students in need, produces pro-Israel media in order to:
Prevent the passage of BDS and other unjust anti-Israel resolutions by countering anti-Israel propaganda with influential visual media.
Aid pro-Israel students in getting elected, running against anti-Israel candidates, to important Student Government positions through compelling political advertisements.
Recognize, call-out and counter anti-Israel propaganda and anti-Semitic materials that are significantly damaging to the Jewish student body.
These efforts are instrumental in promoting free speech, combating BDS and calling out anti-Semitism. The campaign helps to engage (and win) the visual and online battle over topics related to Israel.
