PREVENT PTSD IN ISRAEL’S CHILDREN
URGENT NEED FOR HEALING KITS
Our reserves of Healing Arts Kits have been exhausted. We are now producing ad-hoc, emergency kits throughout the United States for delivery to Israel.
The Healing Arts Kits were designed by mental health professionals to slow or stop the onset of new cases of PTSD. We have delivered over 8,000 Kits across Israel during previous operations and are seeing requests for thousands more during this time of historic need.

Packing Events
Packing Events allow you to directly and immediately help Israel’s children. We ship all kit boxes, activity books, and materials to your location of choice. Invite peers, friends, family, and members of your community to come, learn about the situation in Israel, understand the use of art therapy in PTSD prevention, and pack each kit by hand for delivery to Israel. A sensitive and constructive way to include children in the response to the events of 7.10.
Packing Event Specifics
Each packing party will require a minimum of 100 kits and will be done in multiples of 100 kits. All money raised for extra kits will be packed independently by our team. The kits serve 2 children for multiple uses and can serve up to 4 children total. By sponsoring 100 Kits you are reaching 400 Israeli children. In order to host, you must be able to receive Kit materials and be able to send completed Kits to our shipping agent.
All donations will go to supplies and shipping costs.
Express Solidarity
A Healing Art Kits Art therapist will join when possible to lead discussions. Each Kit comes with a card expressing love and support that you create which is the first thing seen by the children who receive this healing tool.

ABOUT THE KITS
The Healing Arts Kits provide a neurological roadblock against trauma advancing to PTSD. During crises, individuals experience new and terrifying sights, sounds, smells, physical sensations and emotional pain. PTSD sets in when a person's brain is unable to process all the stimuli in a safe manner which results in a feedback loop in the mind and memory. The Healing Arts Kits create alternative sensations in specific orders designed to stop the PTSD loop from forming.
After rigorous review, The Healing Arts Kits have been endorsed by many top psychological and educational institutions, including the Israel Center for the Treatment of Psychotrauma, the Israel Trauma Coalition, and the Israel Ministry of Education.

OPEN-SOURCE ACTIVITY BOOK
To help the survivors of the 10/7 Hamas massacres and other Israeli children wrestling with trauma as quickly as possible, Artists 4 Israel is releasing an open-source version of our multiple war-tested Healing Arts Kits, formerly proprietary activity booklet. Each open-source kit helps families use everyday household items in specific ways that can defuse the neurological process that solidifies trauma. We invite all psychiatrists, therapists, and other mental health professionals to edit this booklet as needed. Our expert team will review each entry on a daily basis for relevance and adherence to accurate scientific research.
